Twelve Days of Christmas – Day 10 – Finished and Unfinished

Starting new craft projects is easy, finishing is a totally different matter, so I started tracking projects in my bujo, and every year, I move over the uncompleted ones.

So, today, let’s talk about 3 Finished and 3 Unfinished Projects.

3 Finished Projects

1) Navarro Sweater
Start: 17 March 2021 – End: 21 March 2021
This is my only sewing project for 2021, and one that it is very unlike me, since I am know for liking only one color: black.

2) Cross Stitched Cards
Start: 22 May 2021 – End: 27 June 2021
A special project, or rather a set of small projects, to say thank you during a pretty shit time of my life. Cross-stitching also helped me to keep sane.

3) Cuffed Socks
Start: 3 October 2021 – End: 29 December 2021
Last finish of the year, fresh off the knitting needles. I run out of colorful yarn, so I had completed it with some grey one as it was the only one in my stash with the same weight.

3 Unfinished Projects

1) Temperature Blanket
Start: 8 March 2020
Started to celebrate my decade in Ireland, it’s taking a slightly longer than the year I had planned, and more yarn that I estimated, as I topped up my order with another 10 skeins of Paintbox yarn. Currently, I have done from March to July, seven months left. Is this going to be a 2022 finish?

2) Cat Cross Stitch
Start: 12 September 2020
Another bitch of a project. My first full cover cross stitch, that blue is killing me.

3) Shawl
Start: 31 October 2021
Wanting to tick off as many projects as possible, I was set to finish this before the end of the year. After frantically knitting for a few days, I timed myself for a couple of rows and run a quick estimate: the result was 6 hours a day of straight knitting to achieve this goal… *moved to next year’s projects*
