I haven’t written a single post in 6 months.
I was doing so well in 2024, with a more regular schedule, but then I started yet again another master, which kept me super busy up until early June; then we had summer in Ireland, so I couldn’t really sit inside typing; then I’ve been spending a lot of time drawing and trying to learn oil painting, so busy busy bee. I’ve been keeping up the crafting, just not the sharing.
But to be honest, it’s not only that, in general, the state of the world has been making me very demoralized, from genocides to AI to climate change to capitalism, I think we are cooked.
I had to take a day or two to coming back to this post, as I felt overly cooked. I have been struggling with the sharing part of my creative endeavors: I’ve been finding increasingly challenging to post on social media, which made me think to just scrap it all and just keep it for myself. I decided not to for now, I do enjoy sharing with people, in particular as most of my “followers” is people I met in IRL at some point, and it’s a way of keeping in touch, while it becomes increasingly harder to meet. I know there’s a lot to say about we should meet more, but hey, until the total collapse of capitalism, we need to spend most of our life working, trying to paying bills, surviving…
Anyway, long story short, I’m back online, not sure for how long, as I navigate the umpteenth existential crisis. I’ll be catching up on Knitfluenced series with a couple of FOs, and a review of how 2025 plans are going.
In the meanwhile, here’s some pictures.
