I’ve been thinking what to write as a small introduction of this latest (and probably last) blog post of 2017, but I’ve no wise words to share about this time of the year. So let’s get straight to the point and here you go a retrospective of my crafting for 2017.
- January
The first project of the year was my Harry Potter themed 2017 bullet journal, which is going to be also my 2018 bujo as I didn’t bullet journal as hard as I planned.
- February, March, April, May, June
No big projects as my last term in Trinity kept me busy, but that doesn’t mean I was artistically idle. Instead it was the time for small drafts as hand drawn stickers for my bullet journal, drawings, small gift to be sent to pen pals, and so on, diligently documented through my iPhone camera on my Instagram.
- July
This little dress for a mini Wonder Woman! The idea, pattern and execution was all mine and I’m very proud of it even though the skirt wasn’t as planned because of a little measuring mishap. I didn’t want a costume but an every day dress inspired by Wonder Woman.
- August
Golden and silver roller derby helmet covers.
- September
Harry Potter related crafts including stationary sets and a Gryffindor Quidditch robe. These were done in August, however, they debuted on the 1st of September for the Harry Potted pub quiz of my roller derby team.
- October
October was dedicated to #inktober and a tiny project for tiny feet.
- November
It was a very nerdy crafty month (as if there is any other craft kind…), which included GOT inspired goodies and a Portal mug. Oh, I also started writing a novel with NaNoWriMo.
- December
Does eating mince pies count as crafting? I spent most December studying for the exams and then went to Italy for Xmas. I took pictures, wrote, read, prepared my bullet journal for 2018 and I’m recharging for an even more artistic and crafty 2018!
In the meanwhile, so long and thanks for all the visits! 🙂
